Bluewater Village Early Learning is a family owned and operated centre, owned by John Wall and directed by Belinda Lister.

About the Role:


We are currently seeking 1 inspiring and innovative Lead Educator for our Junior Kindy room (2.5-3.5 years) and 3 Assistant Educators to join our team.


The successful candidates will have a passion for delivering high quality education and care and be able to work collaboratively with all educators to ensure high quality practice is achieved.


Skills and Experience:


To be considered for the Lead Educator role, you will require:



  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • Experience in delivering and implementing high quality education and care as a Lead Educator, within an Education and Care setting

  • An in-depth knowledge of the Education and Care Services Regulations and Law (National and WA)

  • An in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Standards

  • A current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months) or a willingness to get one

  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas and strategies.


To be considered for the Assistant Educator role, you will require:



  • Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care, (anyone studying will also be considered).

  • Experience in delivering and implementing high quality education and care within an Education and Care setting

  • Knowledge of the Education and Care Services Regulations and Law

  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Standards

  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check (Blue card)


Role Requirements:



  • Must be available 37.5 hours per week, between 6:00 am and 6:30 pm

  • Reporting to the Centre Director and Assistant Director, you will be required to assist in the supervision, care and education of children, and support the successful day-to-day operation of the centre.

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of suitable programs to children attending the centre, supporting their general development, in conjunction with creating a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment.

  • You will need to be compassionate, have the ability to build rapport with both children and parents, be hygiene and safety focused, and a positive team player.
