Reporting to the Toolroom supervisor you will be a self-starter who can work autonomously, you will be responsible for the maintenance of site equipment, attending breakdowns, ensuring stores are kept updated alongside diagnosing and resolving faults throughout the site. This Maintenance Fitter role will require that you perform the following:

• Fault finding, modification and continuous improvement to assets


• Service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility


• Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility


• Contribute to the team environment, through sharing knowledge and collaborating with others


• Point of contact when attending a breakdown during shift


• Assist in maintaining spare parts store to desired level

The successful candidate will:

• Mechanical trade certificate III (mandatory)


• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment


• High level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding and problem solving.


• Processed based risk assessment skills


• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
