About the Role

In order to meet our growing business demands, Lenswood Produce Company are currently seeking a Forklift operator who can also assist in Sales. The hours will be early morning and will include weekend work. Lenswood Produce Co is located in the South Australian Produce Market at Pooraka.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current experience in a forklift role & hold a current High-Risk License


• Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative and self-motivation


• Ability to work in a small team environment


• Strong communication skills


• Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable but not essential


• The ability to learn new tasks quickly


• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

Duties will include:

• Picking orders for customers – repetitious duties , including lifting, bending , standing and forklift movements.


• Picking and Delivering orders in the market for customers


• Loading/unloading transportation vehicles


• Transport pallets of stock throughout the work area and market


• Stack pallets in designated areas


• Stock control


• Re-fuelling of forklift


• Customer service


• Computer data entry – invoicing –CHEP transfers- stock inventory

You will also need to hold a current Drivers’ Licence, be reliable and responsible.
