About us

East Corrimal is a beautiful beach side town, with a multitude of cafes, shops and playgrounds. The city of Wollongong is less than 10 minutes away with major retail outlets, bars and restaurants. Our friendly practice has 4 experienced part time doctors, supported by 3 knowledgeable nurses. With our appointment book exhausted at the moment, we're looking at employing an experienced GP who is confident in treating and looking after our valued patients. Qualifications & experience

• Minor surgical skills in the treatment and management of skin cancer


• IUD insertion skills


• Demonstrated diagnostic competency and minor surgical skills


• Unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner with an MBBS/MBChB or equivalent


• Vocationally Registered Practitioner


• Be eligible for Medicare Provider number


• Commitment to integrated health and wellness


• Excellent organisational and communication skills


• Ability to work as part of a dynamic team


• Up to date indemnity insurance

Tasks & responsibilities

• Providing general medical services to the local community


• Executing methodical and well-informed patient diagnoses and treatment plans


• Attending training for ongoing CPD in all general practice fields


• Promoting disease prevention and best health practices


• Ensuring the clinic maintains its profile as a community leader in health care


• Rostered weekends clinics


• Collaborating with staff, patient and health professional in a health promoting manner
