SOLIDROK Constructions Pty Ltd. is a privately owned, medium-sized concreting construction company based in Northern Metropolitan Melbourne.

Operating over the majority of Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. SOLIDROK holds multi-disciplinary insight spanning several construction facets, including but not limited to:

• Detailed excavation and soil removal


• Supply and placement of formwork


• Supply and fixing of steel reinforcement


• Supply and finish of Concrete structural elements


• Crane operation services


• Construction Management


• Value Engineering

The Role

• Responsible for ensuring all works are built to scope, design and specifications, within the allocated program timeframe safely and correctly.


• Direct onsite supervision of staff and subcontractors.


• Ensuring OH&S Site safety protocols are adhered to by staff and subcontractors


• Completing site supervisors' logs & site reports 


• Comply with all company Quality Systems, policies and procedures.


• Lead, train & mentor the site team of 5-8 men


• Manage multiple sites

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5-year experience as a concreter leading hand on residential or commercial project.


• Trade background essential in concreting: You will be a hands-on dividing your time between work on the tools and managing the site if required


• Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications


• You will be using  – a cloud based system to record hours, record daily site diaries, update the construction schedule etc so must be computer literate.


• Own Vehicle


• OH&S Experience


• You must be a tradesman with an eye for detail and produce outstanding quality of work.


• Excellent communication and personable skills to engage with Builders representatives and our Sub-Trades.


• You must have excellent organization skills, be able to prioritise work, and be able to work independently.


• You must have a personality that can work well with others and a desire to work within our company long-term as the possibility exists for continuing work.
