We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team in Mackay.

Mackay Carpetcare & Restoration Services is a local company that has been in operation since 1995.  MCC provides 24/7 restoration services in disaster recovery in the Mackay and District areas. Most of our team at MCC have been employees for over 10 years providing a great team culture and work environment.

THE ROLE

We would expect you to provide a high level of customer service to our customers.  We will train the suitable applicant to be able to use truck mount machinery, moisture meters, drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers and other specialty drying equipment.  

MCC main office is in the city surrounded by plenty of shops and transport.  

Opportunities exist for further education available.

THE ROLE

- deliver on all fire, water, mould restoration works safely & to a high standard

- Represent Mackay Carpetcare in a timely, positive and professional manner and maintain a tidy appearance

- Liaise with head office on allocation of work

- Follow instruction as directed by MCC staff and work safely in a team and without supervision

- Attend internal and external training and meetings when required

- Be involved in onsite risk assessments, toolbox talks & risk identification

- Keep facilities, equipment, vehicles & tools clean as requested

- Heavy Lifting

- Requirements to participate in on-call roster

- Willing to work overtime

KEY SKILLS

- Must hold current C Class (Manual) Open Licence

- Must have own reliable transport

- Clean driving History

- Willing to obtain a white card

- Ability to undergo a police check, medical & drug test

 - Excellent communication skills both written & verbal

- Customer service focus

- Time management Skills

- Computer literate
