Maintenance Fitter - experienced

We are a well-established general engineering and fabrication business based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne with a very long and established reputation.

We are currently seeking

A Maintenance Fitter (a petro - chemical background will be highly regarded)  to join our team.

• Must be Trade Qualified.


• Machinist


• Maintenance - Plant and processing equipment. 


• Pneumatics/Hydraulics, 


• Fault finding.


• Additional welding certificates, Manual Arc / Mig / Tig (Mild Steel, Stainless and Aluminium) will be highly beneficial.


• Strong mechanical aptitude.


• Ability to read and work from workshop / engineering drawings.


• Experience in general engineering and fabrication. fork, boom-lift. confined space. working at heights. construction induction,

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A current driver's license and own transport is a must for the position.


• Ability to use hand tools, welders, and general tools of trade.


• Take pride in your work, an attention to detail and proven ability to produce work to a high standard.


• Work independently or in a team.


• A flexible approach.


• A practical and hands on approach.


• A range of Certificates will be highly regarded. (Boom lift, confined space, forklift, working at height, first aid etc. etc.)
