Job Description

Carey Constructions is a privately owned and operated civil contractor predominantly specialising in Sewer and Water Infrastructure. 

We have numerous positions available for Excavator Operators, Pipe Layers, Offsiders/Labourers & Skip Hook Drivers.

Projects in both the South and North West Sydney areas, constructing water and sewer pipelines. 

We are Sydney Water Accredited with ongoing & consisted work offering competitive rates of pay & over time. 

Responsibilities

• Excavator operators – Operating machinery 5-50 tonne.


• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and hazard/incident reporting


• Digging trenches and backfilling


• Working to laser levels


• Labourer / Offsider to Pipe Layers - Traineeships offered 


• Pipe laying – Sewer & Water Mains


• Trenching around surfaces


• Skip Hook Drivers - with trailer to float machines / Loading & Unloading


• Be able to work as part of a team


• Confined Space preferred


• First Aid preferred


• VOC ticket required for operators


• Driving Licence & Own Transport


• White card
