Job Description

Working on a range of different furniture items, constructing from raw materials with woodwork and some metalwork involved.  Be part of the design process and use your attention to detail to keep our many customers coming back for more.  Working 2-3 days per week (15-22 hours), flexible work hours/days to suit the right candidate.

About Us

We are a family owned business based in Osborne Park.  We have a reputation for quality heavy duty outdoor and indoor furniture.  Supplying to a wide range of industries including hospitality, schools, mine sites and the general public.

About the Role

Our small team needs some extra help to increase production and shorten our lead times.  You will be working with the business owners who are used to getting their hands dirty.

Duties

• Timber machining - thicknesser, saw table, mitre saws, routers, sanders etc.


• Heavy lifting required.


• Use of hand and power tools.


• Some metalwork - cutting, drilling etc.


• Sanding timbers


• Applying resins and timber finishes.

Skills and Experience

• Handyperson skills


• Woodworking and machinery experience


• Competent with hand and power tools


• Current driver's licence


• Mature and physically fit


• Forklift ticket desirable


• Non smoker


• An attention to detail and takes pride in their work
