We are looking for a Qualified Mechanic for our busy Performance and general Automotive workshop.

Fast Lane Performance and Automotive are an established company handling everything from a basic service to extensive modifications for classic hot roads. We do all mechanical repairs, servicing, RWC’s, dyno tuning, performance upgrades, transmission servicing, brake repair & replacement, tyre replacement, VACC safety checks and repairs and maintenance of all new and classic vehicles.

THE ROLE

Applicant must be able to diagnose and repair simple and complex automotive issues, perform routine maintenance tasks from Services to General mechanical repairs. We work on a range of vehicles, for maintenance and modifications, from Classic cars to Performance cars. We also offer dyno tuning, wheel alignments, tyre repairs, air con servicing etc. We basically do everything in-house. The successful candidate will use state-of-the-art computer diagnostic equipment to pinpoint issues and develop a cost-effective solution for each customer. The ideal applicant will have a sound knowledge of all mechanical repairs and servicing. Our business offers a competitive salary. Applicant must be able to work unsupervised. KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must be qualified – having served an apprenticeship.


• 1 years' minimum experience after qualification performing automotive service and repairs


• Familiarity with the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment


• Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly disposition


• Aptitude for all types of mechanical repairs and modifications


• Applicant must be able to work unsupervised


• Drivers’ Licence
