Casual Farmhand Cropping

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Casual Farmhand to assist with our cropping enterprise, with potential ongoing work for the right person. Farm experience and machinery operation is a must.

About the Role

Casual Farmhand duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Tractor operations - cultivating, planting and applying appropriate fertiliser


• Operation of farm machinery including tractors, spreaders, seeders, tillage equipment and irrigators (including general servicing and maintenance)


• General maintenance and labour; preparation & tidying up of paddocks including picking up rocks and sticks, repairing fences including areas outside of the cropping enterprise when required


• Comply with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures


• Participate in tool box meetings and discussions

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in farm work in particular operating tractors & equipment is a must


• Easy going and friendly personality


• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn


• Good communication and effective time management skills


• Physically fit to undertake manual work, work outdoors, in all kinds of weather conditions and where required long hours


• Self-motivated and a Team player


• Own Transport and Manual Driver's licence
