About us

Boronia Upholstery, a family owned business for 28 years, requires an upholsterer for an immediate start. The role is offered as full or part time. Age is no barrier. We work for interior designers, shopfitters & the public in the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality industries. We custom make & re-upholster all household, outdoor, antique and commercial furniture using the best quality products.

Qualifications & experience

• Must have experience in upholstering & preparation work


• Punctuality & reliability, attention to detail, must be a good communicator and able to work well in a small team 


• Ability to work unsupervised


• Willing to undertake additional duties as & when required

Tasks & responsibilities

• Strip & Prep frames


• Upholster a wide & diverse range of furniture


• Foam cutting, gluing & cushion filling 


• Assist in furniture delivery when required
