About the role
Our continued growth offers opportunities for experienced mechanical and/or heavy plant fitters to work in our engineering workshop in Queanbeyan NSW, AUSTRALIA.
This is a hands-on role requiring the following:
Service and Safety Inspections on mobile equipment, specialising in: GMJ, Redmond Gary, Nifty Lift, Premier Proline, Palfinger, Fassi, Hiab, HMF, all EWP’s
An understanding of hydraulic and electronic control and safety systems on wide range of mobile equipment
Structural repairs and maintenance
Hydraulic system repairs and maintenance
Change out of components
Minor welding, fabrication and repairs
Function and load testing skills
General preventative maintenance of mobile equipment

Skill Requirements
Minimum Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or | Heavy Plant Mechanic or | Fitter/Welder
Experience with servicing & maintenance on a broad range of mobile equipment including truck mounted cranes
Industrial experience with fixed plant
Strong mechanical skills and mindset
Diagnostic and problem solving skills
Crane servicing experience
A good eye for detail
Must be thorough and efficient
Post trade Fluid Power qualifications would be an advantage
