Job Description

We are a leading steel fabrication company in the Toowoomba Area - seeking a Business Development/Estimator to join our team. Duties include performing research, gathering quotations, preparing reports, and monitoring forecast plans.  Ideally, experience in the steel construction industry would be preferred, however, it is not essential.

The position will require the applicant to have:

• Good Numerical and Analytical Skills to produce estimates for Labour / Material and Time requirements to compute overall cost of projects


• Technical Skills – Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.


• Have great communications skills - dealing with clients and builders


• Have the ability to collect site information and site measurements


• Drafting and reviewing contracts

The successful applicant will:

• Experience in reading and interpreting structural designs and drawings.


• Able to work within a team environment with strong organisational and communication skills
