Job Description

We are seeking a school leaver or Trainee Educator wanting to learn to join the team at our purpose built centre in Ferntree Gully, VIC. Our family owned centre opened in February 2020. We have a lovely staff team and are supported by an external management company so you will have extended professional support in your quest to excel in this position. 

Trainee Educators are a respected position within our service with the responsibility to contribute towards providing stimulating, caring and happy environments for children to support positive outcomes under the National Quality Framework, Regulations and National Quality Standards. 

Main responsibilities include:

*Supporting the room senior educator in the development and delivery of the learning program as per the Early Years Learning Framework and service philosophy.

*Compliance at all times with the National Quality Framework, all relevant legislation both state and federal and the National Quality Standards. Regulations include, but are not limited to: 

- Education and Care Services National Regulations 

- Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 

- Fire and Evacuation Legislation 

- Family Assistance Law and delivery of Child Care Subsidy 

*No qualification in Child Care required. 

*Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Children's Services as a traineeship 

*First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain 

*Working with children check or willingness to obtain 

*Looking for someone who works well within a team environment and shows initiative.
