Job Description

Kindergarten Teacher required for Long Day Care Centre in Eastern Suburb; Cert III position also available for our Toddlers group. 

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced, passionate and trained Kindergarten Teacher, to lead our 3-year-old groups of children, in our long day care centre in Ringwood.

We are also looking to build upon our assistant educators, and have an opportunity for a Cert III to also join our team working with a wonderful group of dedicated and experienced educators in our Toddler room.

Our centre is dedicated to the education and care of young children. You will be joining a reputable and quality Child Care Centre group, with a team of professional educators who work cohesively together.

You will have a passion and a commitment to a learning approach which focuses on facilitating a child's capacity to engage in an environment that is safe, secure, nurturing and educational. Both parents and children's needs and interests will be developed with opportunities for learning being the focal point of program delivery.

For the correct Candidates, these positions will be 5 days a week PPT.

Our centre operations are based on the VEYLDF, NQS, play based learning programs incorporating portfolios as the method of planning.

You will have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent. You will demonstrate a professional level of written and verbal communication.

Cert III applicants will have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.

First Aid certificate and Anaphylaxis and Asthma training

Working With Children Check, experience with the NQS, VEYLDF and long day care are essential. Candidates that have experience with Assessment and Ratings would also be looked upon in a favourable light.
