Support Worker

Magnolia Helping Hands is a new small family owned and operated NDIS provider.  Our clients depend on us to deliver service supports that help build and maintain their lifestyle giving them choice and control.

We are looking to employ casual Support Workers who can offer care and support in a friendly and professional manner.  Your tasks will range from cooking, cleaning, transport and backyard maintenance as instructed by the Directors.  It is desirable to have a positive attitude, compassion, flexibility in your time management as at times you will need to respond to the changing needs of the client, and you might be expected to work outside of normal hours, weekends, and public holidays.  Our clients will depend on us to provide them with consistent and ongoing support, therefore, dependability is a huge quality factor for us and our clients. 

You will be expected to follow instructions and work with a variety of tasks to assist our clients. Your efforts and hard work will be compensated and appreciated by ourselves and our clients. 

Your core duties are listed below and are very generic in nature, however the list below will be reviewed and confirmed with each client to ensure their expectation and requests are met.

Qualifications

To join our team of support workers, you will need to present current certifications for:

• Mandatory NDIS Worker Screening Check


• Support Worker certification III or IV


• Registered Vehicle with comprehensive insurance


• Food Handling certificate preferred 


• First Aid and CPR


• Police Check


• Working with Children Check


• Right to work in Australia
