We are currently seeking a full time Office Assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the business. This position comes with potential opportunities for career growth for exemplary employees.


About the Role


This role will require the following of the successful candidate:



  • Reporting to the Company Directors and Senior Management 

  • Answer, screen and direct phone calls to the appropriate person

  • Monitor and maintain multiple company email accounts and calendars

  • General administration tasks including printing, copying and binding

  • Daily mail collection and organising mail and courier services

  • Format information for internal and external communications

  • Assist in the coordination and maintenance of company IT Requirements

  • Manage supplier credit applications

  • Organisation of company events

  • Assist in collecting content for social media and advertising

  • Complete stationery and uniform orders for the office and construction sites

  • Complete office and site shopping orders

  • Maintain office and kitchen tidiness by assist in keeping staff common areas clean

  • Office coffee and lunch runs for employees and visitors

  • Ad hoc senior management requests and out of office errands

  • Assist in the filing and maintenance of company management system (Quality, Safety and Environment) documents

  • Assist in coordinating minor works projects, tender and project documents and deadlines

  • Assist in maintaining company supplier and subcontractor database

  • Assist accounts department in general accounts administration activities

  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff members

  • Organise servicing, drop off and collection of company vehicles from vehicle service centres if required 


Requirements



  • Drivers Licence with own reliable transport 

  • Qualifications or studies in administration favourable but not essential

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including excellent phone and email etiquette 

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite knowledge

  • Ability to work methodically, multitask and have a great attention to detail

  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

  • Punctual and well-presented

  • Valid Work Visa for Australia
