We are seeking an experienced Electrician with fitting experience to join our exciting team who is passionate, proactive and safety conscious. 

We supply, service, install, maintain and repair vacuum packaging machinery and other associated meat and food processing equipment. We provide our customers with superior customer service during potentially disruptive and difficult periods and are required to comply with a high standard of safety and compliance. Quality underpins everything that we do. 

About the Role

You will be working in challenging environments and on machinery which is low to the ground, so it is essential that you be physically fit, active and energetic and a non-smoker (due to the food safe work environments).

You must be reliable and presentable and exhibit a high level of customer service as well as maintain well documented works.

About You

To be considered for the role, you must:

• Have a positive “can do” attitude


• Hold an Electrical Trade Certificate


• Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate (preferred)


• Hold a Current QLD Open C Class Drivers Licence


• Forklift Licence (preferred)


• Manual handling, load securing, receiving and dispatching skills


• Experience in the food manufacturing and processing industry


• Thorough understanding of electrical testing and fault finding on low and extra low voltage equipment


• A sound understanding of AC motors and with mechanical fitting ability to repair and replace gearboxes, bearing, seals, shafts, and conveyors


• Proficiency in problem solving, fault finding and diagnostics


• Contribute to stock management and procurement processes


• Strong commitment to safe work practices


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Efficient management of time and resources
