Executive Assistant, Full time, Casual Rate


Nicholl Constructions is looking to fill the role of Executive Assistant.  We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to join our company (male or female).  Your primary responsibilities will include providing effective and efficient administrative support activities and executive assistant support to the Directors and the Project Manager.


Although there will be training available to the successful applicant, you must have the ability to learn new things and be willing to take on new challenges.  You should also be flexible and be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs.


We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to accurately prepare important documentation, coordinate travel arrangements.  You must have the willingness and capability to be highly organised.


You would be paid on casual rate basis, but well above the Award casual rate.  Your rate will be dependent upon experience.  You will be required to work at least 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. If you are looking for a part time position, we may consider less hours for the right person, for example 5 to 6 hours a day.  Please note this in your application.


Your duties may include:



  • Answer telephone

  • Make quotation appointments

  • Create Work Contracts for Clients

  • Prepare, submit and manage applications for building permits, occupancy permits

  • Request and collate prices from suppliers for products, supplies and tender applications

  • Collation of SWMS; creation of SWMS Job specific registers

  • Material Orders for Project Manager and Director when needed

  • Arrange remote travel, accommodation and movement permits for site staff

  • Attend to daily work tasks issued by Director

  • Prepare Building Permit Site Folders

  • Other work as required


We are looking someone to commence employment as soon as possible.  You will be trained directly by the person who currently fills the role.
