Job Description

We are seeking an HR Crane Truck Driver for our Moorebank Sydney company, experienced in operating a Hiab-style crane.

Abbey Timber is a well-established family owned business trading since 1975 located in Moorebank Sydney. We offer a range of decking supplies in different species, sizes and grades. We supply external timbers for building decks/pergolas/privacy screening. We have a great team of staff who work within a family friendly environment. We are an expanding company and for the right candidate there is room to grow within our business.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, dedicated team member with excellent work ethic.

Reporting to the warehouse manager, the role requires:

• Early starts


• Deliveries of timber and hardware


• Unloading orders on site with the crane


• Must be available Mon-Fri (Some Saturday work if necessary)


• Working in the yard ,helping make up orders and load/unload trucks when required


• Ability to follow procedures whilst working in a fast paced environment


• Must be available to work overtime


• Excellent communication skills


• An energetic team player with a "Can Do Attitude"


• Fit and healthy

KEY SKILLS

• MUST have a HR Truck licence with some experience in operating a Hiab style crane. No Crane Licence necessary.


• Excellent work ethic, punctual and reliable


• Good communication skills


• Able to work in a team


• Prepared to work hard


• Drivers licence


• Resident in Australia


• Have the right to work in Australia
