Job Description



  • This is a permanent part-time position and you will be required to work up to 37.5 hours each week.

  • Design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children incorporating Victorian Early Years and Development Framework and the overall philosophy of the service and company.

  • Nurture strong relationships with staff, families and children.

  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement and development of the service and children.


Responsibilities and Duties

Qualifications and Skills



  • Must hold an approved Early Childhood Degree (Bachelor of Education) or be studying towards your Early Childhood Degree and have completed at least 50%

  • VIT Registration 

  • Ideally, hold a minimum of 1 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher and experience in the working in a long day care Kindergarten.

  • Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Must hold a current Working With Children's Check

  • child protection certificate

  • willing to work 4 to 5 days per week

  • current First Aid/Asthma/Anaphylaxis
