Lamonte tiles, a Melbourne retailer supplying tiles and flooring for over 13 years, seeks an experienced HR Truck Driver / Storeman for local and country deliveries.

Based in Keilor park, the successful candidate will join the family operated team of our busy, expanding business delivering our products on time, in good condition, to the customers satisfaction across metro and regional areas.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive safely and legally at all times.


• Loading and unloading trucks (Forklift)


• Delivery of tiles/pallets to job sites using a moffett forklift


• Work cleanly and neatly at all times by maintaining a clean workplace


• Delivery of smaller orders to site (Ute deliveries)


• Ensure each delivery is carried out politely and in a timely manner and ensure that all deliveries are carried out with care, correct products, correct quantities & well packed.


• Lead by example at all times; Representing the company to our customers.


• General packing of customer orders and housekeeping of the warehouse.


• Other duties as directed by management such as occasional hand unloads

Skills & experienced required:

• Hold a current HR driving licence for more than one year


• Hold a current Forklift license 


• Car Drivers License is essential


• You must have a proven track record as a HR driver / storeman :


• Experience using a forklift (moffett) 


• Experience in multi-drop off / pickup deliveries with fork and hand unload


• Experience within the tile industry is preferred


• Keen eye for detail


• Excellent communication skills

The successful candidate will enjoy the use of a brand-new truck and moffett forklift. This is a full-time position, with daytime working hours from Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work as required.

Salary is commensurate with experience and background.
