LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
NEST Landscape Design are an integrated landscape design, construct and maintenance team that ensure our projects come to life with expectational level of detail and craftsmanship. Customer service and professionalism are fundamental to the way we engage with our team and clients. As NEST are growing at a rapid pace, we are looking for a driven and skilful Landscape Maintenance Supervisor.
This full-time role is an autonomous, hands-on position with the responsibility of managing NEST Garden Maintenance Schedule as well as assisting current landscape construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES
Maintaining and continual improvement of landscapes including green spaces/soft landscaping: mowing, trimming, hedging, planting, laying turf, tree cutting, pruning, mulching, and weeding.
Manage and use supplied NEST tools and equipment
Completing and updating individual garden tasks such as: cleaning, irrigation management, soil management, chemicals, fertiliser and pest control inventory
Attention to detail, ensuring the space is functioning to its optimal capacity: all hard and soft elements within landscape are functioning to the highest calibre and any issues are reported to management and client
Communicating to the client about their garden directly, scheduling visits within their timeframes, potential estimates of additional work along with completed and/or proposed garden works.
Planting our landscape construction projects – site & soil preparation, plant set out to plans, mulching and detailing.
Working with and training other NEST staff with varying skills and capabilities, requirements of undertaking and managing small construction projects are an option as required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Horticulture
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in high end residential
- Excellent communication skills – to clients, team, management, and contractors.
- Own vehicle
- High level of standards and values
- Eye for detail and problem solving.
DESIRABLE
- Experience in both soft and hardscaping works is desirable.
- Renumeration is based on skills and experience.
