Job Description


We are looking for an experienced person to undertake administration and building permit application co – ordination duties for a small but busy building surveying practice.


The ideal candidate will have experience in a building surveyors office, the ability to work autonomously and the desire to become an integral part of the business.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Booking and recording building inspections

  • Registering new building permit applications and set up of project

  • Issuing building Permits

  • Processing Certificates of Final Inspection and Occupancy Permits

  • Answering of phones

  • Co-ordinating documentation for building permits

  • Undertaking government reporting functions via councils and the VBA BAMS system

  • Invoicing to clients

  • General administrative functions


Flexible hours and position can be either part time or full time. Start date January 2022


The position is based in our Berwick office.
